Creative clamping 101
Sometimes you need very specific clamping pressure. This needed to be clamped from 3 directions. There are 2 small carbon fiber rods acting like a go bar inside the guitar holding a 3" piece of kerfing in place while the modified violin clamp and the spool clamp push back and down.

Danelectro head stock restoration
I had a Dbl Neck Danelectro come in needing new machine heads and a logo. The water decal ordered from the internet was problematic and not authentic. Danelectro silk screened their logo. After a few hours of research, several Youtube videos and a trip to the local art store and a print shop..... I got a screen made, did a couple practice runs and the headstocks were relogoed.

MacWiesen
I've decided it's going to have 6 strings, the first 2 will be double courses. Could be tuned D,G,B,E or G, D, A,E. I'm thinking black with white binding and a snake head stock.

Can this be fixed?
This guitar came in with a broken bridge plate, loose and fractured braces and of course a lifting bridge that included a portion of the top. Time was spent staring at it, pulling it out of the case, putting it back in again.....
Ignoring the overall damage, fixing it, one problem at a time, it came together. The structural issues were resolved and the top flattened. It plays well and is a nice sounding guitar.

It started as an experiment
After cold bending one side I did another and started down a path making something with no particular ending in mind. Here it is so far. We'll see what it turns into.
